Google quietly rolled out a 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞.

When building Custom Segments based on keywords, URLs, or app interactions, you can now see the estimated audience size on the right side of each segment.

Example: You build a custom segment targeting users searching for competitors or niche solutions, Google now tells you “80K” potential users can be reached with this custom segment.

This change helps a lot for campaign planning and optimization:

✔️ You can fastly validate if your audience is too narrow or broad

✔️ It helps you prioritize which segments to use in upper vs lower-funnel campaigns

✔️ You can start experimenting what happens if you add more or less keywords, more or less website links etc.
