At thomaseccel.com we stand behind the quality of every digital product we publish. Our playbooks, scripts, exclusion lists, dashboards, and templates are built from real-world Google Ads experience and updated regularly to reflect platform changes. We are confident in their value.
Because we are confident, we offer a straightforward 14-day money-back guarantee on all digital products purchased directly from thomaseccel.com. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 14 days of your purchase, we will refund you in full. No conditions, no exceptions, no interrogation.
2. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to contact@thomaseccel.com within 14 days of your purchase date with the following information:
- Your full name.
- The email address used at checkout.
- The name of the product you purchased.
- Your order number (included in your purchase confirmation email).
You do not need to provide a reason, though we genuinely appreciate any feedback you are willing to share as it helps us improve our products.
We will process your refund within 10 business days of receiving your request. The refunded amount will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Depending on your payment provider (PayPal or Mollie), the funds may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear in your account.
3. Eligibility
The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to all digital products purchased directly from thomaseccel.com, including:
- Downloadable playbooks and guides (PDF format).
- Google Ads scripts.
- Exclusion lists.
- Looker Studio dashboard templates.
- Any other digital downloads sold through our store.
The guarantee applies to purchases made within the 14 days immediately preceding your refund request. Requests submitted more than 14 days after the purchase date cannot be processed.
4. Business Customers
If you purchased as a business customer by providing a valid company name and VAT number at checkout, you are acting in a professional capacity and EU consumer withdrawal rights do not apply to your purchase. However, our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee applies equally to business customers. We treat all our customers with the same standard of service regardless of whether they are purchasing as an individual or as a business.
5. Your Statutory Rights Under EU Law
This section does not limit your legal rights. It clarifies them.
As a consumer located in the European Union or EEA, you have statutory rights under EU Directive 2019/770 on contracts for the supply of digital content. These rights exist independently of our voluntary refund policy and cannot be excluded by contract.
Specifically, if a digital product you purchased from us does not conform to its description, does not function as a reasonable consumer would expect, or is otherwise defective, you are entitled to:
- Have the product brought into conformity at no cost to you.
- A proportionate price reduction if conformity cannot be achieved.
- Termination of the contract and a full refund if the non-conformity is significant and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time.

Additionally, EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, this right does not apply to digital content once delivery has commenced with the consumer's prior informed consent.
6. Products Not Covered
The following are not covered by our refund policy:
- 1-on-1 consultation sessions (60-minute calls with Thomas Eccel) that have already taken place. If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled call cannot be refunded.
- Purchases made more than 14 days before the refund request is submitted.
- Refund requests submitted without an order number or verifiable purchase details that we are unable to locate in our system.
7. Abuse of the Guarantee
Our money-back guarantee is offered in good faith to ensure every customer is fully satisfied with their purchase. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where there is clear evidence of systematic abuse of our refund policy, such as repeated purchase and refund cycles across multiple products.
We also reserve the right to terminate the licence granted for any digital product upon issuance of a refund. Following a refund, you are no longer licensed to use, retain, or distribute the relevant digital product. Continued use of a refunded product constitutes a breach of our Terms of Service and may give rise to legal action.
8. How We Process Refunds
All refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout. We do not issue refunds by bank transfer, store credit, or alternative payment methods unless the original payment method is no longer available, in which case we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
Processing times by payment method:
- PayPal: typically 10 business days after we initiate the refund.
- Mollie (credit card, iDEAL, Bancontact, and other methods): typically 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
