I tested the new Google AI mode experiment in Search.

Last year, Google launched AI Overviews to Search, which are helping users find what they are looking for.

Now, Google has introduced AI Mode which uses advanced reasoning, thinking and multimodal capabilities from Gemini 2.0 to help tougher questions.

Think about ChatGPT-style summaries right inside Google Search.
That means:
1️⃣ Less real estate for organic results
2️⃣ Fewer clicks to websites
3️⃣ Users get answers without needing to visit a page
4️⃣ Ads? Still not showing but its an experiment. Google will soon act.

AI Mode is rooted in Google's quality and ranking systems.

This isn't a future trend. It's now.
