Official Meta Pixel Google Tag Manager Template is live

Big News! 🚨 Meta just made tracking setup a lot easier.

There's now an official Meta Pixel template inside Google Tag Manager. For the first time I think. I only know some community templates workarounds made by experts.

 

Now it has been created and published by Meta themselves.

Some good news:
✅ You can reuse your existing GA4 dataLayer
✅ Enhanced Ecommerce events map automatically
✅ No more duplicate tagging for Purchase, AddToCart, ViewContent, InitiateCheckout
